You've never played chrono trigger or secret of mana? What's wrong with you man?! :)
We have a PSX but I lost one too many saves when the kids were using it (e.g. they overwrote my Gran Turismo save at about 80% completion) I bought multiple ram cards but it never seemed to help.
Therefore I stick to PC gaming where I can back stuff up & control my own data.
We also have a PS2 but we only got it for the kids - Singstar and Eye-toy. No other games.
