I'm like the voice of Doom lately - I keep picking up links to sites offering nothing but despair and discouragement to writers. Me, I like all the despair and discouragement up front so I know what I'm up against. Work out the fantastically remote odds and then carry on anyway.
I thought all the reasons to not write were pretty funny. It's all the stuff my inner critic has already thrown at me. If I was writing just to become Stephen King's equal I'd have given up a long time ago.
